Resident Telephones, Video Visits, Messaging, and Entertainment

Residents at MonDay Community Correctional Institution have access to Smart Communications for phone calls, secure text messaging, video visitation, and approved entertainment services, including movies and music.

Each resident is permitted one phone call during the orientation phase. Upon successful completion of orientation, residents become eligible to place regular phone calls. All resident phone calls are made using approved collect call or prepaid calling account services.

Family and friends can use Smart Communications to:

  • Add funds to resident phone and messaging accounts
  • Schedule and participate in video visits
  • Send secure messages (where available)
  • Manage communication services online

Visitation & Family Support

Visitation Information
MonDay believes positive connections with family and supportive relationships strengthen recovery and promote lasting change. We offer in-person visitation for all residents on scheduled days, as well as video visitation at your convenience through our resident kiosk system.

  • Residents are eligible for visits after achieving Phase 1, which takes approximately 30 days.  If the resident identified you as an approved visitor, a Visitation Orientation / Instruction Packet will be sent to you by email, or if email is not available, by postal mail. The packet will explain the bi-monthly visitation schedule, visitation procedures and rules.  
  • Residents are permitted two adults per visit and all of their minor biological/legal children. At no time will more than two adults be permitted at one visit.
  • Adult visitors must show a photo ID. Children under 18 years of age must have some form of ID or birth certificate.
  • All who are visiting must be on the visitor's list as determined by the clinician and the resident.
  • All visitors must be dressed appropriately, i.e., shorts, skirts, or dresses must be knee-length or longer. No low-cut tops, muscle shirts, sleeveless shirts, yoga pants, or see-through clothing. T-shirts with drug or alcohol logos or gang symbols will not be allowed.  No clothing that is lewd or offensive.  No holes in clothing.  No skinny jeans or tight-fitting clothing.  
  • Any child under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who must be on the visitation list.
  • Each visitor must have a picture identification credential and their name on the resident's approved visitation list, otherwise, they will not be allowed to visit.
  • If you are late for check-in time, no visit will be permitted.
  • No items or Personal Property boxes will be accepted at any time during visitation. Personal Property boxes may be mailed to the resident or dropped off at the facility Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm at the Bldg.1 Entrance (on the left side of the parking lot). MonDay is closed on Federal Holidays and the day after Thanksgiving. 
  • Please leave all purses, bags, wallets and all other items locked in your car.

  • Check-in time: 6pm - 6:20pm
  • Visitation time: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Second and Fourth Saturday of the Month

  • Check-in time: 2pm - 2:20pm
  • Visitation time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Second and Fourth Sunday of the Month

  • Check-in time: 2pm - 2:20pm
  • Visitation time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Second and Fourth Tuesday of the Month

  • Check-in time: 6pm - 6:20pm
  • Visitation time: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

A special meeting for the support people for RSAT residents takes place virtually on the second Monday of each month at 5:00 PM. This time is for the individuals identified as being social support to discuss resident progress and any concerns with RSAT Clinical Staff.

Resident Personal Spending Accounts

Residents may purchase approved personal items through commissary using funds deposited into their resident account managed by Access Corrections.

  • Lobby Kiosk: Cash deposits may be made at the kiosk located in MonDay's lobby during normal lobby hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The kiosk charges a transaction fee and does not accept $1 bills.
  • Online: Visit Access Corrections to make a secure deposit.
  • By Phone: Call 866-345-1884 to make a deposit.

When making a deposit, you will need:

  • Resident ID Number: Please contact the facility if you need the resident's ID number.

Residents are limited to $70 per week in commissary purchases.

MonDay does not accept money orders or cashier's checks for resident accounts. Funds may be deposited using any of the following methods:

To maintain the security and safety of the residents and staff, all inmate postal mail must be sent to the following address:

The Resident's Name and ID number must be clearly printed on the outside of the envelope or postcard to ensure the mail is posted to the correct account. Mail not containing the resident ID Number and Name will be "Returned to Sender". Please call the facility at 937-496-7300 to obtain the Resident ID Number.

All regular resident postal mail (Postcards, Letters, Greeting Cards, etc.) will be scanned into the system and available to the residents to view their postal mail via the resident kiosks.

Upon release, residents can log in to the public website and enter their resident number and password and download their Photos, Messages, and Postal Mail for free.

Please Note: Legal Mail, Court Documents, Bank Statements, and Publications will continue to be sent to the facility directly.

A resident may receive a total of two personal property boxes during their stay. All items must be in a sealed cardboard box with first and last name written clearly on the top and outside of the box with a packing list taped to the top of the box, noting the contents of the box. No alcohol, drugs, profanity, or inappropriate logos on garments. Boxes will be accepted Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (at the Main Entrance, Building 1) 

Please note: Boxes must be sealed and ready for drop-off prior to entering the lobby. No exceptions.

Please do not exceed the quantities listed beside each items on the list above. Unauthorized or excess items will be mailed to the address designated by the resident. The resident will be charged a $20 fee per box for shipping and handling.  

Each resident is provided with uniforms during their orientation phase in the program. After completing the orientation phase of the program (approximately 30 days) the resident will need their own clothing. Any time during the resident's stay, they may have the items on the Personal Property List brought or mailed in.
